We are in! Get ready for the 50th New York City Marathon

2020 TCS New York City Marathon
Team Ganley Foundation is in!

The 50th running of the TCS New York city Marathon is set for November 1, 2020. The TCS New York City Marathon is the largest marathon in the world and the signature event of New York Road Runners (NYRR), the world’s premier community running organization.

This will also mark our 11th year as an official partner of the NYRR Charity Program. We are proud to share that every single one of our runners year after year has crossed the finish line.

We congratulate our 2019 TCS New York Marathon team:
  • Chris Hurley
  • Coulter Jones
  • Donna Patton
  • Doug Holmes
  • Fabien Pampaloni
  • Jeff Munafo
  • Joe Leuci
  • Kate Mclaughlin
  • Valerie Pedicone
We are grateful to have these phenomenal runners on our team. Every race is not just about pounding the pavement. Oftentimes we have seen that this is a very personal journey. Sometimes one runs for oneself, to support a loved one, or honor one that we have lost. Everyone’s race is their own unique journey.

This is part of our crusade to help alter the startling statistics about mental health and suicide. We have seen suicide rates rise to be the 2nd leading cause of death for those ages 9-34 years of age and the 9th throughout all combined age groups in our nation.

Runner’s efforts though this partnership with NYRR has truly proven to be life-saving. They and their supporters inspire us year after year. Each runner not only enlisted in a full 26.2 mile marathon in this world renown race, but they chose to do so in support of our cause by raising funds and awareness.

The Ganley Foundation is ready to prepare to welcome our new team for 2020 this year. NYRR Charity Program has again allotted us 10 spots and we are looking for committed runners. Each runner receives guaranteed entry and is responsible for fundraising as per the NYRR Charity Program.
