School & Community Presentations

Grace & Jordan Burnham Speaking to Students

The Ganley Foundation provides educational presentations for schools and community organizations on the topics of mental health, stress reduction, depression, and suicide prevention. These heartfelt and empowering presentations offer educational basics and insights into the world of youth depression and suicide. These services are organized and lead by Grace Carricarte, LMHC (licensed mental health expert specializing in suicide prevention) and guest speakers available, which may include Ann Ganley (founder of the Ganley Foundation and survivor of her son Jimmy’s death by suicide) and Jordan Burnham (professional mental health campaign speaking bureau’s public speaker and youth suicide attempt survivor).

Presentation times vary between 1-3 hours and formatting is appropriately adjusted to best address the participant and population needs. The Ganley Foundation is fortunate to be able to provide funding towards these important services and will always work within available means to fulfill your organization’s needs. "The Ganley Foundation put on an amazing presentation at Devon Aire. It really explained to all the kids and adults in the audience, that there are people out there willing to help them. No matter what the case may be, feeling lonely or not important...you are not alone"

Justin Menendez, High school student and founder of J.A.M. Foundation

"The information provided during the stress management training was not only informative but interesting. Thank you for providing insight into ways to handle this feeling, while adding a touch of humour to remind us how important comic relief can be in all aspects of every day coping. It's with this mixture of laughter and education that make the trainings you provide both meaningful and enjoyable."

- Emily Ginsberg, Program Specialist at Drug Free Youth In Town
