Spring 2019 NJ Presentation Series

Back by popular demand the Ganley Foundation returned to New Jersey for a second presentation this school year. This second tour occurred during March 25-31, 2019 and 10 presentations were provided with audiences including students, faculty, and parents. Schools included: Northern Valley Regional High School Demarest, Indian Hills High School, Ramapo High School, Bergen Catholic, and Northern Valley Regional High School Old Tappan. Close to 4,000 individuals were provided our suicide prevention presentations.

Our first tour had been held during New Jersey's Week of Respect which occurred during October 1-5, 2018 providing 12 presentations to over 5,000 students, parents and faculty at schools including: Ramsey High School, Mahwah High School, Pascack Valley High School, Pascack Hills High School, Westwood Regional, River Dell Middle School, Don Bosco High School, and Ramapo Ridge Middle School.

Despite our foundation’s headquarters presently being in south Florida our grassroots began in New Jersey so for over fourteen years the Ganley Foundation has remained committed to providing these presentations to the tristate area. Furthermore for a decade this has included amazing partnerships with Minding Your Mind a non-profit featuring our co-presenter Jordan Burnham. We believe very strongly and share their premise that we can break the silence through education. These presentations accomplish just that. Our Minds Matter supports these efforts as well with their student-led movement to change school culture around mental health. It is indeed an honor to remain of service to this extraordinary community and we look forward to our foreseeable upcoming New Jersey presentation series which will occur this Spring 2019.
