A special documentary produced by ESPN has been nominated for an Emmy®.

The Ganley Foundation is proud to work closely with public speaker and youth mental health advocate, Jordan Burnham. Jordan has been on quite a journey from his high school struggles with depression, a suicide attempt, subsequent rehabilitation, and current work to engage others in a life-saving conversation about mental health. ESPN’s documentary series entitled E:60 shared his inspiring story on October 26th including commentary by featured mental health expert and executive director of the Ganley Foundation, Grace Carricarte. An extended version of this piece included touching interviews with the founder’s of the Ganley Foundation, Jim and Ann Ganley, who share about the loss of their son Jimmy to suicide and their commitment to helping others.
We are thrilled to share that E:60’s Unbreakable Story of Jordan Burnham has been nominated for an Emmy award. This nomination is an honor for our cause.
On Dec 23rd, ESPN aired a special episode of Outside the Lines dealing with depression and suicide. This show centered around Jordan Burnham and also Grace Carricarte and Ann Ganley of the Ganley Foundation. Viewer responses demonstrated how powerful our message can be for those who have experienced mental health difficulties both directly and through those of a loved one. The show can be seen presently on the ESPN website.
