Trainings

Ganley Foundation Training Session

School staff and those professionals working with youth are encouraged to participate in this important training. Suicide remains a leading cause of death for our youth and in most cases there are warning signs which are unfortunately overlooked or misunderstood. In this 1-3 hour training participants will obtain an understanding of youth suicide including the definition of it, its prevalence, risk factors, warning signs, how to help youth, and available resources. Each presentation’s content may be tailored to meet the specific needs of the participant’s target population.

“It is so wonderful to be able to have access to the Ganley Foundation and your amazing resources and speakers. Your participation in so many of our events and school activities has truly made an impact on the youth that we serve.  Again, a big THANK YOU to the Ganley Foundation for all that you have done and continue to do for DFYIT and our community.”

- Marlis Gonzalez, Educational Events Manager Drug Free Youth In Town
