The Ganley Foundation provides educational presentations for schools and community organizations on the topics of mental health, stress reduction, depression, and suicide prevention.


School staff and those professionals working with youth are encouraged to participate in this important training.

Accreditation by the American Association of Suicidology

The Ganley Foundation has official certification by the School Suicide Prevention Accreditation Program of the American Association of Suicidology. This accreditation process included the following subject matters: best and evidence-based suicide prevention practices, warning signs for youth suicide, prevention and postvention principles, how to reintegrate a student after a suicide attempt, litigation outcomes, dealing with traumatic loss, risk factors for youth suicide, how to assess a youth at risk, how to deal with parents of a youth at risk, creating safety contracts for youth at risk, and contagion. The aim of this education is to reduce the incidence of suicide and suicidal behaviors among today's school-age youth.
